Blackmill Sheep Sales

Seasonal Sales of store lambs, breeding ewes and rams and cull sheep. Sales are to be held on a Thursday and are on a fortnightly basis from beginning of August to November – see below for this years sale dates.

Sales commence at 11:00am prompt.

Directions: Exit M4 motorway at Junction 36 and take the A4061 Signposted Bryncethin/Blackmill, continue on this road through the village of Bryncethin until you enter Blackmill take the first left by the Petrol station, follow the road around and the sale field is located on your left hand side over the river bridge.

Blackmill Market Report - Thursday 21st November 2019

A small entry to the seventh and final sale of the year at Blackmill, with an overall entry of 426 store lambs to a 100% clearance to over 9 buyers. Across the board a good trade was seen for a good show of store lambs forward with the top price reaching £70. Throughout the sale a fantastic trade was seen on all long term lambs with an overall average at £45.50. Leading prices to include:
